ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR B.Sc. COURSES (2014-2015)

Applications for admission to the first year degree class in the science stream are invited from MALE candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary/Equivalent Exam. in the year - 2014 as REGULAR CANDIDATES. Application form will be available online (www.rkmvccrahara.org) & from college office from 04.06.14 to 11.06.14. The application form complete in all respects will be received at our college office from 04.06.14 to 11.06.14 between 11 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on payment of Rs. 100/- (only on working day) for further processing.

• The applicant accompanied with his father / legal guardian is asked to report for counselling punctually at the time and on the date indicated.
• Candidates are to produce the following at the time of counselling ( One xerox copy each of the following + All the ORIGINAL documents ).

  A.	H. S. Mark-sheet Madhyamik Admit Card ( For Other Boards ... Date of Birth document ). Character certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended. SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B certificate ( if applicable )
  B.	Six New, Un-attested pass-port size photographs (6).
  C.	Contact telephone number of residence / relative / neighbour etc., where an information about the student may be sent in case of emergency or otherwise.



• Immediately after counseling, the selected candidates should be ready to get themselves admitted by depositing fees, pass-port size photographs, etc., failing which they may lose their candidature.

DIRECT ADMISSION: (Through Counseling)

• Do not DEPOSIT the filled-up form at the College Counter. Bring it directly to the college office with fees, etc. for admission along with guardian.
• Direct admission is available through counseling and selection process for Mathematics (Hons), Botany (Hons) and pure Pass Courses only and accordingly limited number of seats will be filled-up as per the Criterion Marks given on Page 1.
• Tentative dates for Direct Admissions: on June, 9 & 11, 2014: between 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

OTHER MATTER

• Incomplete application forms will not be considered.

• Do not enclose any document with the application-form except one photocopy Of (10+2)marks-sheet. All the necessary documents will be required, only if The candidate is provisionally selected for interview.

List of Eligible candidates for COUNSELING

• For each combination of subjects there will be a separate list.
• In each list the names of candidates eligible for counseling will be displayed alphabetically.
• The names arranged alphabetically in the list will not indicate Merit Position of any eligible candidate.
• Mere appearing of the name in the list does not guarantee the admission of the candidate.

The applicant accompanied with his father / legal guardian should report for COUNSELING punctually at the time and date as indicated in the list published on 16.06.2014.

Immediately after counseling, a list of provisionally selected candidates based on MERIT will be displayed on the Notice Board and the selected candidates should be ready to get themselves admitted by depositing fees, etc at the college office failing which they may lose their candidature and the same will be filled-up from the next eligible candidates.

  • Must have passed H.S./Eqv. Exam. in 2014 and
  • Passed in four recognised subjects including English.
  • Must have passed in each subject of the combination of subjects chosen by him for the degree course of study.

• Out of SIX combinations available, a candidate can have ONE/TWO/THREE PREFERENCES, provided he is eligible to apply for those courses. (NO EXTRA MONEY IS CHARGED FOR THREE PREFERENCES) --- Be careful in selecting your preferences. No change in preference will be allowed later on.
